Question about SAT scoring

Hello
First of all i am not very familiar with the scoring of the SAT so i am sorry if this sounds dumb. My problem is that i got my sat scores back this morning. I had three more correct answers in reading and three more correct answers in writing ( For a total of 6 answers more than my last sat) and one more correct answer in math. However i have the exact same score. My reading section score even dipped, even through i had 3 more correct answers. Can someone give me some insights into this do they curve the test based on others scores or is it a set score for everyone?

Each time the test is administered, College Board decides how the scoring should be done for that test date. So, for example, missing 5 questions on a test in June could give you a different score than missing 5 questions in October. The scoring is done the same way for everyone. Some posters have said that there is more than one version of a test given on a test date, so, if that is true, scoring can be different depending on which version of the test you happened to get. I think they make scoring adjustments for each test administration in order to make sure there is no advantage to taking the test at different times of the year when the proportion of high test scorers might vary. They also set the scoring to allow for slight variations in the difficulty in each version of the test.

With the old SAT, College Board used performance on the previous year’s tests to help set the scoring fairly on the current tests. With the introduction of the new SAT, this process has been more challenging for them because they didn’t have previous test performance to base the scoring on.

Thank you very much I was so confused about that. Well I will just have to do with getting the same score (was really hoping there had been an error or something lol)
