<p>The University of Chicago website says they sponsor National Merit Scholarships if you list them as your first choice so I was wondering if anyone knew how much money they gave out?</p>
<p>I listed Chicago as my first choice for NM, and they gave me $2000 (every year for four years), which I think is a pretty standard amount.</p>

<p>In other words, when they say I'll get about 35000 in fin aid, does that include my scholarship, or is that just my loans and grants- then a 9500 scholarship on top of that?</p>
