OK, I have taken both the SAT Reasoning and the ACT and I did much better, comparably, on the ACT. So obviously I should send just my ACT score.

However, I am also planning on taking some Subject tests and it seems that you have to send your entire score report. So doesn't that mean that I am forced to send my (worse in comparison) SAT Reasoning score too?

Also, you don't HAVE to send your scores from College Board directly (for nearly all colleges?), right? Because I heard that while some colleges want scores directly from College Board and ACT, most will accept them from your high school directly. If so, couldn't I just get my counselor to exclude my SAT Reasoning score or something?

Hmm... actually I'd like to know about this too, but I believe that the colleges will favor your ACT score if you did better on it, so there isn't much to worry about.

Bump. I'll just rephrase the question. Can you send SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject Test scores separately??

BUMP! (10char.....)

According to CollegeBoard:

All available scores will be sent, including those from previous test administrations. You cannot send only your latest or highest SAT Reasoning Test scores, or separate scores for critical reading or math or writing, or only SAT Reasoning Test or only SAT Subject Tests scores.

I believe colegeplease is correct.

A related question: The application forms ask the student to identify test dates for ACT and SAT. If the student has taken ACT more than once, should he or she identify other test dates? I realize the ACT testing agency does not send all test results, as Collegeboard does, but is the student under a duty to identify other dates anyway? Do the schools have access, once you apply, to information on other test dates and scores?
