Hi! I was recently accepted to UCLA, and I was so happy and in shock that I still don't think it's real. So naturally I'm super paranoid about my application possibly being rescinded.

First semester

A - Speech/Telecomm
C - AP Economics
B+ - IB English
B+ - AP Statistics
A - ASB Student Government
B - AP Chemistry 2
A - IB TOK

Which comes out to be about an unweighted GPA of 3.28, which is thankfully above the 3.0 UW requirement. My second semester GPA will most likely be about the same, maybe a little bit less, but still 3.0 UW or above.

What I'm worried about is, is the UW GPA based on A-G courses only? That would mean only my Economics, English, Stat, and Chemistry classes would count, and omitting my A's in Telecommunications and ASB, I'd have about a 2.75 UW GPA on both semesters, which makes me really worry. So is the GPA calculated with all classes included, or just A-G?

Helppp, i'd love to get a reply sometime tonight, so I don't have to lie in a cold sweat worrying about this issue all night in bed :/

edit: Just saw your post. Yeah, I'm going to try EXTREMELY hard to raise all of my grades with the 5 weeks of school I have left, but I just want some clarification on the overall, or A-G GPA issue

Yeah. The only thing that makes me optimistic is that on the Provisional Contract, it says this:

"
Complete your senior year program with the same high standards you have demonstrated thus far. You must complete the senior year classes listed on your application with at least a minimum overall unweighted B average and no grade lower than a C. "

It doesn't mention that the B average must be A-G courses, only the "senior year classes listed on your application", so maybe it's calculated with all the courses included? I hope so.
