Question about Sororities

Hi everyone!

I'll be a freshman in the fall and I definitely want to rush, but I'm not sure how it works exactly. Could someone explain what I should expect when I get there for rush week?

Bump! I wanna know too :)

Hello! I just graduated from UCF and am proud that I was active in Kappa Kappa Gamma and will still be as a alum. Things to know about Rush!

  1. Sign up on the UCF Greek Life website at least a week in advance
[Welcome! - Fraternity and Sorority Life - UCF](http://fsl.sdes.ucf.edu/)
  2. It is Formal Recruitment in the Fall so there is an entire week of recruitment Monday-Saturday the week BEFORE school
3)If you live in the dorms you can make arrangements to move in a week before school for rush
  3. You can research each chapter beforehand on each of their webpages, but its not required
5)It’s important to remember that you want to find girls that you connect with and see yourself being friends with and share your values with. UCF greek life is relatively relaxed so just be yourself and have fun!

Being Greek is a wonderful way to be involved, have fun, and make friends. At UCF the average GPA of women in Greek life is higher than the average undergraduate and most of the girls are very friendly and down-to-earth.

This Fall we are adding a new sorority to UCF, Delta Zeta, so now there will be 11 chapters total on campus! Get excited, have fun, and good luck!

Thank you so much for the reply! That was very helpful  I can’t wait until next year!!
