Question about submitting application online and by mail

<p>I am submitting my application online through Common App.</p>

<p>But my counselor prefers to send the recomendation letter by mail rather than online.</p>

<p>How do I let the colleges know that I am submitting the application online, but the counselor's recommendation and transcripts are going to be sent through mail?</p>

<p>Common App website states that if students are not submitting everything through online, they need to let the colleges know what is going to be submitted online and what is going to be mailed, but I don't know how to let colleges know....</p>

<p>do I need to email the colleges?</p>

<p>Under your the school forms section of the common app, hit the “resend” button under your counselor’s name. This will send them an email from common app, in which they need to click a link that states that they will be mailing in hard copies of the forms. I had to do the same for my teacher recs.</p>
