Question about summer programs

<p>hey you guys! thanks for taking out the time to read my post:</p>

<p>so i got a bunch of letters in the mail from various colleges offering summer courses. i guess they saw my psats or my grades or something.
anyways, i got one from harvard and one from standford among others, but i opted to be involved in a biology summer research program at a local math and science university (polytechnic).
also, next summer im going to the East China Normal University in China, so i'm booked for next summer too.
my question is, does harvard like it when applicants attend their summer programs? should i do it summer of junior year?</p>

<p>If you are talking about affecting your eventual undergraduate admission, it makes absolutely no difference. If you are asking if Harvard would like your $8000, of course they would.</p>
