When they say "two different academic subjects" can that mean for example a history and a psychology teacher or does that mean one humanities and one math/science?

It doesn't matter really. However, it does make you appear well-rounded if you can have a math/science teacher and one humanities teacher submit one each. If you intend to concentrate in a math/science field, it would certainly be essential to have a recommendation from a teacher in those areas.

How many pages are teacher recommendations usually>

2? maybe idk for sure

1-2 single spaced.

Harvard uses the Common Application, which includes a standardized teacher recommendation form.

http://www.commonapp.org/OnePDF.pdf

That's a two-page form. Teachers are welcome to add attachments to that form (and I'm sure some disregard the form entirely).

Certain colleges ask specifically for Humanities and Math Department. In the case of Harvard it does not matter. Please make sure to get the recommendations that will help you the most.

still, it's orthodox to do one from sciences/math and one from humanities even when the college doesn't say it exclusively.
