Okay, I applied Regular Decision to Northeastern (my school's guidance department is a little slow, and it would have been 2 weeks after the deadlines before all transcripts actually arrived at NEU, so I didn't want to take any chances) but on their FolderWave Applicant Status website it says that I am an Early Action Applicant. Now I would love for them to have mixed it up and thrown me into the EA pile, so I get my decision early ;), but I don't want to get my hopes up. So what do you guys think, will they treat my application as EA?

when did you submit the app?

I submitted my common application, payment, and supplement on 10/31.

then i would say you might get the decision when we do... lucky you!

Yeah, looks like you're EA.

If you status says you are, then you are.

Plus the EA deadline was changed to November 15th, so you're definitely within that deadline!

I am not sure what happens, since you checked off RD. However, quite often a college will consider your application "on time" if you have all YOUR stuff in on time. Transcripts and SAT scores can come late, and you will still be (for some schools) considered on time. However they of course can't be TOO late.

Therefore, the admissions office may have changed your status thinking that you'd be on time for EA.
