<p>This question might sound ridiculous, but if I was to go to NYU Tisch school for the arts, would I be able to take classes at NYU at the same time in order to obtain a degree in something else? Drama would be my main focus at tisch, but would I be able to pursue a minor elsewhere at the sametime?</p>

<p>if you're in the tisch school of the arts you can still take classes at other schools within NYU, and i think you can get a minor from one of the other schools too.</p>
<p>My understanding based on the admission people is that a minor is possible but very challenging. You certainly couldn't minor in, say, Biology. That would be impossible. But you could minor in, say, English Literature. However, if you have to do work study as well, I think it would be too difficult.</p>
