Question about transferring?

I graduated at the age of 16. SO my parents made me stay home and go to a CC instead of heading to a university. After one semester I am finding out that I need to transfer. ONly thing is I only managed to get 6 credits in my first semester and Its looking like I won't be able to even do the second. I got a B in my humanities class and a C in my Gov class. Am I considered a freshman. I'm freaking out right now especially since I don't know how I'm affected since I might not be able to do a second semester. I have a 2.5 GPA in college and I had a 3.4 in High School.

That depends on the school, the definition of a transfer can range from: taking 1 post-HS college course, to a specific number of units, to having less than a year of full time coursework.

You need to go to the websites of the colleges you’re interested in and read their policies about who is considered a fr and who is a transfer applicant.

Well one of the schools I was looking at has what is called a freshman transfer for students who complete 35 or fewer credits

^Then at that school you apply as a ‘freshman transfer’, whatever that is.

My point is that how you apply with your 6 credits will vary with the school and that you need to go to the websites and follow their directions. There is no single answer to “Am I considered a freshman?”

Ok well are my chances hurt if I don’t have the 2nd semester?
