I applied to UCSD and if i do get in, is there any way to change the college that i got accepted to? Cuz i applied to revelle as my first choice not really knowing anything and Im not so sure that I want to be there? If i do get accepted into revelle…any chance i can transfer out of it?

No, UCSD's website says there are no college changes for ANY reason.

humm when i went on a tour of ucsd i rember that the tour guide said that you can change you college, but only after a year.

i dont think thats true
i visted ucsd twice and the second time i was guided by a grad student
he said that u can put in a request to change
i dont believe there are any immediate changes though

yah its no big deal i would just be happy to get in but my friend said that revelle sucked so wutever ill just go with it....and seriously *** is up with them not telling us about our admissions. im sure they have them all done and in the computers i mean if ucla who gets more apps then them could do it in time, ucsd should be able to. i mean ITS KILLING US!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure as an undergrad student you cant change colleges, I'm looking for the thing on UCSD website, I'll post it if I get it or I'm wrong.

the guy went there as an undergrad and grad
he said he knows people who have done it but that it is hard and not really worth it
just hope that u guys dont get into 6th college

crap that 1st was my to choice, i should've found out what the colleges meant before i applied.

I've been on the tour, the guide specifically said that in certain circumstances they will allow for the student to transfer into a different college but only after the student has experience one year in it to see if he enjoys the setting.

Revelle is more for science/bio

would revelle be a good choice for an engineer?

yeah i think it would

alot of well rounded individuals like warren tho (myself included), alot of engineers are there as well

I really should've taken picking colleges more seriously. I ranked them in order of how well-coded their website was.

Omfg Coolman Thats Exactly What I Did Lol

Sixth College Had An Awesome Website!

Sadly..I don't even remember which 2 I selected...and I don't know how to find out. :P

But I did take the time to read up on each and I was moderately content with my choices.

I know I didn't pick Sixth. ;)

sixth was sixth on my list

sixth isnt the best college I hate the 6 college system b/c UCSD does not explain what each one is for

they do when you go there for the tour. Hey explain the whole thing to you, but its really weird if you dont visit the campus before you apply which is retarded.

sixth was absolutely terrible
