<p>I have a really good idea about the UVA Essay, but I'm not sure it fits the prompt</p>
<p>of "What work of art, music, science, mathematics, or literature has surprised, unsettled, or challenged you, and in what way?"</p>
<p>Does writing about a riddle work within the prompt/ or classify as a work of math?</p>

<p>I’m not sure if I would write about a riddle. Seems a tad risky. But that’s just my opinion.</p>
<p>I think it’s interesting, and different. I’d put a draft together and see how it works out, then decide. Until you get words down on the page, it’s going to be hard to know if it’s going to work or not. I don’t think you have to be overly literal in your interpretation of the prompt though.</p>
