Question about UW Placement Test Score?

I will be attending the SOAR in late Aug thus I do not have any academic adviser atm so if anyone could interpret my score my UW placement exam please assist me. Please tell me how I did.

For English: 470.00
MUST TAKE COMMUNICATION COURSE A

For Math:

Algebra Placement 640.00
Math Basics 640.00
Trigonometry Placement 560.00

Math 113 or Math 210 or Math 211 or Math 114 or Math 171-217 sequence (Math 171-217 is a year long course. Must take both courses to get the equivalent of Math 114 and Math 221) (QR-A Satisfied)

I did not understand the direction for the English portion during the first couple of min. So I end up playing catch up the whole exam. On the ACT for English my highest is a 30. Also, are we allow to bring a non-graphing and use it because my exam proctor only allow me to use the one in the system.

About how many more points or question would I need to be get right to be QR-A Satisfied?

Will it be hard to request to retake the English?

I’m not an expert but from my daughter’s placement test experience I know that you had to score above 600 on English to place out of Communication A. IF you scored a 4 or 5 on AP Lit/Lang you can also place out of Communication A. As for Math it looks like you didn’t score high enough to place into Calculus so you need to take a lower level Math course to satisfy the Quantitative Reasoning Part A requirement.

According to the math placement algorithm, you needed a 565 or above on the Trig portion to place into Calculus (you had 560 - so close!).

Are we not allowed to retake the English placement test because I know we can retake the Math and the Foreign Language test?
