Question about when financial aid packages arrive?

<p>I recently was accepted to USD and santa clara and was hoping for some merit scholarship money, but none were in the letters. I thought that getting in RD on the 15th for USD would be a good sign (i thought they accept from the 15th until april 15th?) and was expecting at least a little bit of money, but i guess not.</p>

<p>so i guess i was wondering if i should hope a letter will come in the future with some kind of scholarship or would it have came with the acceptance?</p>

<p>Depends. When my son was admitted to UCSC, the admission came first, the scholarship announcement a week later. For other schools, some sent an aid letter with the admissions and some later. Don't panic just because you haven't gotten aid information yet.</p>
