Question about...

Hi I have an odd question and I'm not sure anyone would know about this, but here goes. Is it possible to apply to ANY BA-BS/MD program if you plan to spend only 3 years in high school? Meaning as a junior, where you get your high school diploma after the freshman year of college. And I'm basically asking about the 7-8 year programs. Thanks for any help

Anybody????

thats a strange situtation. I'm not sure whether anyone here knows about this.

sure its possible. If you have all the required number of classes that the colleges with the combined programs require for admission and the necessary tests then you can apply.

But let me offer my opinion to you. Hopefully you can consider.

These programs are VERY competitive as you know. Consider spending 1 more year in high school and use that year to possibly increase your GPA, SAT, etc...or even solidify some medically related EC's.

This will all make you an EXTREMELY strong candidate at the end of senior year.

I dont really see any point in rushing to get through it all. It can only be beneficial for you if you wait. You have a disadvantage of 1 less year of experience compared to the kids you will be up against for these programs. They may see that in your interview. Take the year to make yourself a very very very strong applicant.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for the advice doogie311
