Hello Premeds that haven't switched majors yet!
Do you have any advice for any incoming freshmen? (maybe something you regret not knowing)
I was wondering if I should major in something easy, like Psychology, while taking the premed courses for the sake of my GPA...This may not be a good idea though if I somehow don't make it into medical school because what can you do with a Psychology major??

Do what you enjoy and don’t do it for the sake of medical school. If you
major in something “easy” and hate it, you may not do as well than in something you enjoy. Take the intellectual route! Enjoy your amazing education.

Sounds cheesy, but I’m not kidding you. Chemistry is hard, but I love the deparment here and it’s worth everything I’m learning.

I am an incoming freshman this year and am interested in pursuing medicine. I did not take AP chem in high school and so the last chem class I’ve taken is honors chem my sophomore year. Consequently, I essentially don’t remember anything from chemistry. I am deciding between CHEM 20D or CHEM31L. which one would be more appropriate for me??
