Question for anyone familiar with transfer policies

I've applied to transfer to Caltech next fall as a sophomore. I was admitted as a freshman, but for various reasons chose to go somewhere else. Now I've reapplied but, being a molecular biology and biochemistry major, have been taking biology classes rather than physics. Does anyone know how the transfer committee would look at that? Most particularly, does anyone know how that would affect their consideration of my entrance exam results (I did alright on the math and mechanics, but was shaky on the E&M, which I've never taken)?

sorry if this is not about your direct question, but why did you decide to reapply? was the college you were at not challenging enough or what?

I've been doing research in my hometown for three years, so I thought if I stayed here I could do things with it I wouldn't be able to do if I had to start over somewhere else. Also, I was offered a scholarship that covered tuition, stipend, seminars, and three semesters or summers of study abroad if I went to an in-state school. I decided the non-classroom advantages of staying would outweigh the benefits of the people, classes, etc. at Caltech; unfortunately, the level of instruction at my current school is very low and I've heard back from recent graduates who didn't feel prepared for grad school. So yes, not challenging enough.
