<p>this is not the same as permanent job offers or grad school, but i know many of our kids have had all kinds of interesting offers for summer experiences. </p>
<p>i don’t know the specifics for every one, but i can share info about my kid. she had a good interview and offer for a summer internship from a major oil company. that didn’t end up working out, due to scheduling conflicts (due to the summer lab). she now has another internship offer from another company.</p>
<p>it will be interesting to see how the job offers work out in the fall.</p>
