There are no winter break courses. I believe you can take up to 8 hours per summer school semester however if you’re taking a science or math class, I’d recommend taking only one.

8 hours? So 2 classes?

It varies by department, but most courses are 3 hours. Some are 4, others are 1. Usually students take 1 or 2 courses per summer session.

There are two summer sessions. Most courses meet for 90 minutes every day. Going by the rule that it’s 2 hours studying for every hour in class, you’d also be studying for 3 hours a day. So taking 2 courses in a session is a full-time job (45 hours/week).

is there tutoring during summer or the school year for free available 7 days a week? i know there is a learning center but that is only available 2 times a week. is that the only place on campus?

What do you mean by tutoring? Do you mean your classes?

Can incoming freshmen take summer courses?

tutoring as in getting extra outside help for classes you might be struggling in

Isn’t that what office hours are for?

do most professors have many office hours, or is it like 2 hours per week?

They all have at least a couple of hours. But do you really think you’d go more than that anyway?

A lot of times there will be TAs assisting the professor that also have office hours that can assist you.
