<p>A question for medical school girls and premed girls: What kind of guy are you looking to date? In terms of personality, ambition, career goals, and job? I'm a 22 year old financial analyst moving into an area of NYC with lots of medical school girls....Not gonna lie, I seriously want to date some of them ha.</p>

<p>like 80% of premeds don’t make it to med school, so most of them won’t ever become med students. As for med students and residents, they’re super busy…3rd year of med school clinical rotations all day long, and Residents work like 70-80 hours a week. I think it’s weird you’re angling after women who are that busy, but maybe you’re into the science nerd type? lol</p>
<p>I live in NYC and am a science major…i will probably go to Grad school, but there’s a slim chance i’ll apply to med schools (either way, I want to do med research). My boyfriend is a Finance major who coincidentally wants to be a financial analyst. I don’t look for a particular career or major in a guy. However, if I do go to med school, I’ll be working long hours and it probably makes life a lot more easier if your partner is in healthcare too. If a Med student is working 60-70 weeks in a hospital, it’s nice if you’re dating another med student, doc, nurse, or PA. I believe the divorce rate for physicians is very high because of the demands of their careers :/</p>
<p>I wouldn’t mind my future husband being a stay at home dad. he has to have some kind of ambition in life though, (like wanting to write a novel or something). personality wise - kind, funny, can deal with me being occasionally neurotic, laid back…quirky sense of humor is a plus. the kind of guy who doesn’t think it’s weird if i make a dead fetus joke :)</p>
<p>well being a financial analyst i have 75-90 hr work weeks…i find med school girls appealing because many of them are really good looking, are smart, ambitious, match my hours, and have similar income as me. Plus science girls have that quirky cute personality not found in the type-A finance girls i deal with daily</p>
