(Sorry, I’ve been asking this same question on a lot of colleges’ pages haha)
I was recently admitted to UMN’s Class of 2020! 
In making my decision of whether of not to attend, I have a quick queestion for those who attend: How would you describe UMN’s student body? Motivated, laid-back, hipster, clique-y, friendly… anything and everything you have to say is welcome.

I don’t attend UMN (applied, waiting on a decision!), but I did take a tour of the campus a couple weeks ago, and all of the students that I talked to were extremely friendly and conversational. I didn’t get a clique-y vibe at all while I was there. I don’t know if that applies to the student body in general, but it definitely was very encouraging

There’s really a wide variety of people at the U, a lot of the Freshmen are quite motivated to do well, but really it depends on people’s majors and classes. The people are not very clique-y but everyone does develope a group of friends. Minnesota nice is real! Mostly everyone is very friendly and helpful around campus!
