I was wondering what an 1885 on the SAT would get me about on the ACT, about how would that score compare to an ACT score, what score should I expect on the ACT

Somebody shared this with me the other day: [ACT-SAT Concordance](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/index.html)

I don’t think an 1885 is possible lol.

Looks about right to me. Although percentages are a poor comparison point, my 2080/2400 and 31/36 are about the same (87% and 86%, respectively). My ACT scores are just practice tests, but I would be surprised (and disappointed) to score below 29. I predict a 30.

eh,
i got a 2050 sat, but a 33 act

so take everything with a grain of salt

2080 is 96%, not 87th!
What have you been basing your percentiles on?

I think he meant mathematically.

2080/2400 = 86.66666666667%

31/36 = 86.111111111111%

I agree with him though, this is a poor comparison. The SAT only contains Math, Reading, and Writing (which I find unfair that Language Arts gets an extra section but Mathematics does not). The ACT has Math, Reading, Science, and Writing (I find this fair because Science is to Math as Writing is to Reading).

dude, you can’t get an 1885 on an SAT
they go in increments of 10.

I don’t really mind, but I am a she.

It is a poor comparison, but it’s a raw thing to compare with, at least. I know there’s theoretical concordance, but there doesn’t necessarily have to be. I got a 2250 on the SAT. Although my practice tests came back as 31s, I feel my performance on test day was very poor. I am praying for a 30 but I am feeling a 29 or lower. It depends on the individual. I studied hard for the ACT for a matter of weeks, but I’ve been preparing for the SAT basically my whole life (I live in an SAT area, obviously). What I’m saying is this - your SAT and ACT scores may not compare at all.

I didn’t think scores could end in a 5 either, until today. One of my friends has a score ending in 5 and the other’s ends in a 3.
