Question: MIT Portfolio

I emailed MIT and they told me the actual deadline for a portfolio is around Jan 15

According to the website, the portfolio should be in 8"x10" hard copies.

I'm in Canada and not so sure abt the 8"x10"?

is there anyone who has done this before?

My daughter submitted an art portfolio using a cd that she mailed in. Everything was formatted for easy reading on a MS Office platform, and there were no problems. You probably noticed that the admissions site states that is acceptable, but not preferred. The only reason it's not preferred is that sometimes students send in digital art in various formats, and they aren't all easily viewed, or there's a problem with the cd. Hard copies are preferred, and although they ask for the old studio standard 8"x10", you can also submit standard 8.5" x 11" color reproductions of your work. Basically, strive to adhere to the same submission standards required for the AP Studio Art portfolio.

Thank you CalAlum

Should I include other information beneath the image?

^^ That's up to you. You could include a title and date of each piece, or you could include a separate sheet that lists the pieces.
