I want to give my D some advice, but am in a quandary.

School synopsis: She started school interested in actuarial work (and also working on her favorite hobby, writing), so she is aiming for two majors (Math-Stats and Creative Writing) in 4 years (heh - it's a very generous Ivy League school, but they start becoming markedly less generous after 4 years). She's on track so far after her first year, brought in the maximum in ap credits and earned about 38 credits with a 3.7 gpa.
She works all summer and also has work study during the winter along with working with several charities/clubs over the school year. Among other things, she taught SAT prep to low income urban students and did well enough that she was made a leader.

The school has a business minor, but neither a business major nor finance major.

Well, along with her full time summer job, she also got an internship in nonprofit finance with a group that she worked with before college and now she is interested in nonprofit finance. Does anyone know about the prerequisites for that job? Would taking a couple highly targeted business courses (say directly in nonprofit finance, or just in organizational management) be required? Thanks for any info. I did see (online) that the recommended background is b.s. finance, but that isn't available, though she is taking the finance branch of the Math-Stats degree now.
