Question on a famous trial

does anyone know a famous trial on the top of your head that consisted of a verdict that was later found out to be incorrect?? i cant find any online.. please help

By "incorrect," do you mean that the verdict was contradicted by another court? Or are you looking for a criminal trial where additional evidence was discovered?

The only one I can come up with at the moment is the Dred Scott supreme court case, but that's just an interpretation of the constitution that was revised in later trials.

i dont mean that it was contradicted .. just that people realized that the jury was wrong .. and they cant retry the defendant

Try the Emmett Till murder case:
