So today my school held a small "scrimmage" for Mock Trial where I was a part of a prosecution team. I've never been on mock trial before nor have I had any prior court experience. Basically I'm a dumb butt when it comes to court but I did try to prepare a so I wasn't completely lost. Today wasn't so hot compared to the other defense team and their prosecution. I think I did learn a lot about what I can do to prepare but just talking to others about what I could do better doesn't give me a guideline as to what I need to make sure I should do in a trial scenario.

For those of who who are in Mock Trial or have been in it previously, what do you recommend? Tips? Strategies? Court etiquette?

I have never considered anything like law, mock trial, or debate nor do I believe I will take a career path in political science. But I like challenges!! Today gave me adrenaline but I don't want to be caught off guard anymore! Help help help!

Simply, what is absolutely essential to a clean, strong attorney/witness?
Thanks.
