Recently, I, a HS senior, have submitted my application for CSUSM and have selected Nursing as a major. I was looking at their website and noticed that they have a Nursing application on their website as well. I am wondering if I need to complete this application also? Does this also go for the other CSU schools, will I need to submit a separate nursing app to them too?

There are only 2 direct admit Nursing programs at the CSU’s: SDSU and CSU Fullerton, You are admitted based on your GPA, test scores and your grades in Math/Biology and Chemistry courses. No additional nursing app required according to the admissions requirements.
For all the other CSU’s, they are 2+2 programs where you apply for Nursing, are accepted as a Pre-Nursing or Pre-Health Science major, complete your Nursing pre-req’s and then apply to Nursing school after Sophomore year. If there was a supplemental Nursing application required, at time of application, you would have been asked to submit it.
