I am an incoming Senior and I am planning to BS in Nursing. I got a C both semesters in regular Chemistry but I got a B both semesters in Biology. It said I have to have a B in both Chemistry and Biology. Would I still be allowed to apply or would I just have no chance at all?
Thanks
There are 2 paths to the CSUF nursing program: Direct admit or Transfer see information below so you can apply.
**If you want a direct entry admit for Nursing, then you have to meet the following requirements:
Complete High School Courses
Complete the required high school A-G coursework.
Complete H.S. Chem And Bio
Complete high school level Chemistry and Biology each with a grade of “B” or higher (if AP then “C” or higher) by end of junior year in high school (11 grade).
Complete SAT Or ACT Exam
The minimum eligibility index for the program is: 4200 (SAT) or 1010 (ACT).
The eligibility index is the combination of test scores and grade point averages.
***OR you can apply to CSUF and transfer into the program after you met all the Nursing Pre-req’s:
Currently A CSUF Student
Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate CSUF student at the time of application.
Students within any major are allowed to apply and no majors are given preference.
If not currently enrolled at CSUF, transfer students must apply to CSUF into a major other than nursing.
Prerequisite Courses
All prerequisite courses must be completed with a minimum overall GPA of 3.25.
You must earn a “B-” or higher in each science prerequisite course. You must earn a “C” or higher in each non-science prerequisite course.
