<p>does upenn consider freshman gpa? cus mine was pretty bad, but i improved ALOT after that so i just want to know. because if they dotn my gpa is like a 3.95 UW…oh and i talked about how i messed up freshman year in one of my essays too</p>

<p>Dont use a whole essay to talk about how you did not do well freshman year. What is done is done in your grades. Unless something tragic happened, nothing can make up for poor grades. A GC rec should be used to explicate this stuff anyway, and not one of your essays.</p>
