I just took the May SAT and have a question regarding the option to send your scores to colleges.
I'm planning on retaking this regardless of what my score is.

I was just wondering how sending the scores to colleges. Should I send this test's scores, or the next one? If say I do bad on this test, is it best to wait it out before using the option to send? Or does it even matter?

If someone could lead me in the right direction, I'd be pretty grateful.

You send your score directly from collegeboard when you apply to universities. They see all of your scores, however they only usually take your best score into consideration.

So that option that appears on your SAT ticket to send scores doesn't really matter until you have begun university applications?

If you already know where you are planning on applying you can designate the schools that you wish to receive your scores. You get 4 free score reports. The colleges you designate will receive your score report and will keep it on file.

Ok, sounds good.
Thanks for all the info.

if u r retaking it doesn't matter whether u r sending it right now or not........when u send ur next SAT score, they'll automatically get this one too, and as others say, they'll most likely choose the best one.
