Question on Stanford Update Form

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>Just a quick question. I apologize if this was already covered in the deferred applicants post. On the optional update form, it says to include details on any new activities or interests. Should I also discuss any new developments in old activities of mine?</p>

<p>For example, I put down that I was concert master for my school orchestra. Should I talk about the solos I received for that? Or I am in a rock band that I discussed a bit on my application. Should I talk about how we are now recording our third EP? </p>

<p>Or should I keep this strictly as NEW activities? Will I lose credit for including "updates" on old activities?</p>

<p>Where is this update form? Is it instead of or in addition to the CommonApp Mid Year Report?</p>

<p>To answer your question FlameTrooper, I would list all of it. I would list it in order of importance. You will definitely not “lose credit” for updating them on old activities.</p>

<p>Yea, someone contacted an admissions officer in the deferred thread, and he stated that new updates on old interests are accepted.</p>
