I took the writing test in October in conjunction with the test and scored a 35. Now, that’s great and all, but my scores were not quite up to par with it.
So. Two questions: What importance does the writing test have to colleges, and is it possible to send the writing score as an exclusive from the other scores (i.e math, reading)?
You can’t send the Essay score separately. If the other scores are not good enough, take the ACT again. The Composite is what will really matter to the colleges, not the Essay.
But that doesn’t mean neglect the Essay.
Yes, you certainly can send in two/three sets of scores to make sure colleges see your 35 in Writing. Do not take the ACT with writing again.Just focus on your Multiple choice sections.
