Question... out of curiosity.

<p>Does Cornell look at the "additional information" section found in the common application?</p>

<p>probably if you put something there they will look at it… they aren’t going to ignore part of your application. but i would be very careful with using that section. they have space for you to fill out everything you need. i doubt whatever you would put there would be of any use to them unless you talk about extenuating circumstances.</p>

<p>I want to elaborate on the activities listed in the common app. Does that count?</p>

<p>I basically attached my resume in the additional information section. It included all extracurricular activites i wasn’t able to list on the common app due to space constraints. I was also able to elaborate slightly on some obscure activities and my duties at one of my volunteer service posts. i would advise against using it unless you have a specific purpose though</p>

<p>I was accepted ED, and I used the additional sections.</p>

<p>I repeated all of my EC’s listed in the 10 slots for the Common App again lol, and elaborated on them, and also added the EC’s I did not have space for.</p>
