Hello everyone! :) I am currently enrolled in Broward College, and after this semester will have 27 credits left toward my A.A. I hope to be accepted into UCF for fall 2011. I currently have a 3.3, and If I stay on track (which I'm sure i will), I will have 60 credits by the end of term B summer. My problem is that I will finish my last required math and science class in the end of summer term A. Do you think UCF will automatically defer me for not having my required math and science completed by the end of spring 2011? Is there anyone in the same situation as me or has been? Also, I see a lot of people saying that UCF makes decisions in April/May, does this mean by the time i get my 60 credits the school will be to full to accept me? I finished the Application, but have not sent it in until i talk to my guidance counselor one last time. These questions have been spinning in my mind, and UCF has been my dream school for so long now, that I just want to be aware of everything!

They will look at your transcripts and application and see that you will be finsishing up before than, so deferrment is neccessarilly going to happen. If you make sure you meet application deadlines, you can apply throughout the year(SUmmer, Fall, Spring)

Morgy - is there anyway you can finish your AA at Valencia College in Orlando? This will guarantee you placement at UCF. At open house last year, Admissions indicated the largest % of declines were on transfer students. I’d recommend calling UCF admissions to get their take on it; they are a great group of folks and honest about possibility of acceptance. Good Luck!!!

The above statement makes me very, very nervous. I was already turned away from UF, I really dont want that to happen again…
