Ok so one of the admission requirements that are required for UCF is having completed 4 years of English etc....my question is, they say we now have to complete up to at least 4 yrs of Math...as stated "4 units of mathematics (Algebra I and above)" on their requirements page....ive taken Algebra...Geometry....and Algebra 2...so thats 3 maths....BUT ive also taken other math courses...but they are more like remedial courses....like instead of jumping straight into algebra 2 i took liberal arts and instead of jumping straight into Geometry i took Informal Geometry..etc..my question is...do they count those courses as a math credit..? cuz if not im screwed...cuz im taking Integrated math right now but im thinkin bout dropping the class cuz im not doing so well in it.. Idk wat to do...

It’s not that they won’t consider you for admission but it might decrease your chances of general admission. In my case, I took AP Statistics instead of PreCalculus my senior year. This got me placed for the summer term instead of the fall term which is what I applied to.

Bottomline, some math courses that you take may not be considered legitimate math courses to them but it’s fine as long as you took 4 math classes that YOUR school considers math courses.

oooh ok thank u so much :)
