Question regarding grades and age

<p>Currently I'm a 14 year old studying in 8th grade in Singapore, I'll be turning fifteen next year and applying as a sophmore in 2009. Since my school is all year round, I'll be leaving 2 months earlier than the usual break for my school, by then I will already have understood much of the 9th grade curriculum and will be going to boarding school as a 10th grader at age 15.</p>

<p>Is 15 years old the proper age for a sophmore in boarding school? I know there are alot of repeats and ages can really vary but I was just wondering if my age doesn't look too out of place...</p>

<p>The "regular" age for 10th graders in the US is 15 (turn 16 during the year).<br>
Since many kids do repeat, you will find a range some may still be a little young for the calss and just 15 and some may be 16 (turning 17 during the year).
So, in otherwords, you're fine.</p>
