I have a full ride to a great college called Rhodes here in Tennessee.
This is not due to my grades but because my dad works there, and they offer it to employes kids.

With that being said I'm interested in going to a number of SEC schools.
Heres my question, Lets say I made a 15 on the ACT and my GPA was 1.0. (not the case just saying) and all those easy SEC schools to get into denied me, ouch. And lets say I decided to go to Rhodes (I would be on probation) and achieve the right GPA to stay.

And I decided to transfer...
Would a lot if not all SEC schools accept me just because I would be a transfer from an amazing college?
Or would they look back at my high school GPA & ACT.

Little confusing but I tried to make it as clear as I could, Thanks y'all!

It’s up to the individual schools and when you apply. If you put in two years and have a sweet GPA at Rhodes, target transfer colleges won’t care (or only little) what your HS record was. If you apply after one semester or with only middling performance, they’ll certainly want to see your HS records. Have you actually LOOKED at the transfer requirements of these schools? That’s probably a good idea.

But I’ll tell you this: graduating w/no cost or debt burden you’ll be YEARS ahead of your contemporaries. Sure, they may have gotten to go to a few football games and partied at the Greek houses (dudes groping you or girls falling out) – but you’ll actually be able to afford a car, nice apartment, clothes, vacations. A lot of them will be eating ramen. You’ll be able to go to Cancun with people you choose – not just freeloaders around a keg. Those “memories” aren’t all that. Ask any 24 year old. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth
