Question regarding UC Financial Aid and the Education Abroad Program

<p>I have a fairly straightforward question:</p>

<p>If the total cost for the Spring EAP session is ~$16500, and my total financial award in grants alone is $16762, does that mean I can essentially study abroad for free (assuming I put all my grant money towards the abroad program)? If anyone has any insight on this, it'd be greatly appreciated!</p>

<p>Now that I think about it, the EAP cost of 16k is only for the spring, whereas my grants are obviously for the entire year. How will this affect my situation? Hopefully that makes some sort of sense!</p>
