Hey all, I’m a CCC student with some out of state credit. I did very poorly my first semester at a school out of state and then returned to my education at a CCC. I’m trying to determine the proper way to calculate whether or not my current units will put me over the 80 semester unit maximum presented on the TAG Matrix PDF floating around.
I have around 15 Lower-Division units from my out of state school, and 95 automatically Lower-Division units from my CCC. My understanding for the regular application is that these lower division units will be limited to 70 units, keeping me from being in senior standing. My question is if this policy is applicable to TAG applications as well, or am I automatically over the cap given my prior out of state status? It seems logical to me that the same 70 unit cap would stand, but I’m trying to pin things down.
I know Davis accepts TAG transfers to their engineering school with more than 90 units, so I will likely TAG there if I am excluded from the other schools. The school I would like to TAG now is Santa Cruz.
Thanks!
