<p>So here's my situation.</p>

<p>I'm in the 99th percentile of my class of 1000, but my school does not provide exact rank. On the CommonApp form, the most specific I can get in describing my class rank is in deciles, which takes away my advantage of showing my high class rank.</p>

<p>Your college counselor will probably make it evident that you’re in a very high position.</p>

<p>Talk to your counselor and describe the situation. Because mentioning it in the rec letter can be just as good.</p>
