Question

Consider the academic programs in the school/college you indicated above. How will you utilize them to further explore your intended major or field of interest, or general academic interests if you’re undecided?

On the Cornell app, what does this mean?
Is it basically asking how a certain class or research program has made you a more curious/intellectual/better person? What is it mean with the “how” part?

it's kind of like, "why do you match cornell well" for example if you picked CAS you could talk about using the broad curriculum to further your broad interests or something.

sorry. What's CAS?

College of Arts and Sciences

BE SPECIFIC!! Cornell expects you to know about the program you are applying to. Tell them about the unique opportunities available at Cornell that interest you. I wrote about the student project teams and co-ops in the College of Engineering.

it's making sure you are interested enough in cornell to actually find out about your program. If cornell is your "safety" for Princeton or something, you might not make that effort, assuming your stats will get you in.

Yeah, actually it is. Is there a website or something where I can find out interesting facts about CAS?
