According to the UC Appeals cover sheet, we need a check and supporting documents. How much should I write the check out for? What constitutes supporting documents? Does it mean I need to show documentation of illnesses or family struggle? How long should the letter be?

Check??? you don’t need to pay unless it’s for late SIR. There’s no limit on the letter but you should elaborate on how your family struggled and how does your illness affected you to perform to the best of your ability. Supporting documents could be anything from letter of rec to doctor reports. GOOD LUCK!! i’m appealing too

@wonderboy24 do you actually have new information? like what is the basis of your appeal? just wondering because i want to know if i can appeal as well…

basically i had horrendous grades in my junior year because of my father’s death and during that year my responsibilites went up by taking care of my mom and sister and helping out the households which didn’t allow me to dedicate fully on my academics, but i recovered in my senior year by getting straight A’s. something along the lines of that
