Hi I am a Senior in high school this year and I am interested in attending Auburn University saddly my grades were not good at all, nor are my test scores. It was kind of wierd because Freshman Year I was in regular classes all throughout the year and I did below average I was far from a slacker because I wanted to succeed in freshman year but had difficulties with my studying habits because of my learning disability furthermore I got a low 2.3 gpa that year I believe but I did pass every class.

Sophomore year I was placed in this remedial program at my school because of one bad teacher in Physical science. Basically I was taking 2 regular classes and 2 remedial classes (I don't think schools will be impressed with that)

Junior Year I was still in the 2 regular and 2 remedial classes I excelled and worked harder and got a ok gpa 3.1 but then again like i said before I don't think colleges will acknowledge those type of classes.

Senior Year (this current year) I proved myself and am able to take all regular classses

now for ACT I did poorly on 15, and on the SAT I did better in total score than ACT but still pathetic 910.

The question I ask is how important will auburn look into my grades and act/sat score from high school and will they look more into the 12 hours of community college more I am planning on taking if I do the Freshman Transfer? Also would it be better to just transfer in as a Sophomore because I do think that transferring in in the spring would be chatoic being a freshman and not having camp war eagle. (I think SOS is what all transfer go to in the spring)

Final question is would it be even worth giving it a try in applying to Auburn as a regular Freshman? (as in apply for next fall not as transfer freshman)

Thank you
