Hi, I am an international student majoring in business. I am wondering whether mac or pc is preferred in the campus. I noticed that some future students mentioned that pc is a better choice for students majoring in business. They said that using excel in pc is easier and more user-friendly. Are there anyone who is familiar with this? Thank you very much!! :)

Get a PC. K201 assignments can’t be done on a Mac even equipped with Mac excel or access. Businesses use PC. But if you want a Mac for personal reasons, there are plenty of computer labs around campus with what you need for business classes.

There are benefits in MS excel. One benefit is timesavings. Excel saves you time by offering an intuitive GUI (graphical user interface). A key feature of this interface is the Ribbon, which prominently displays icons for the tools you’ll likely use most often.

When you think of what Excel excels at, you likely think of data manipulation first: sorting, filtering, tabulating and calculating data. Each of the tools to do these tasks is immediately available on the Home tab of the Ribbon.
