Questions about course rigor?

So I'll be applying to college next year and am aiming for the top tier. UNFORTUNATELY, I developed a severe medical condition in sophomore year (that has been resolved). I missed days/weeks of school, and as a result, my GPA dropped to a 90 unweighted.

I was in all-honors, but had to drop Honors Algebra II because of the medical problem and ended up with an 80 in CP (average level).

As a result, my classes for junior year reflected this. 2 AP's are the limit in my school. This is my junior year schedule-is it way too easy?

AP Gov-99
AP Lang-94
Hon. US II-95
Hon. Physics-94 (this is the honors senior course-only 20 juniors take physics-most take chem)
CP Pre-Calc-92 (Couldn't go to honors after last year)
Spanish IV-95 (couldn't be in honors bc skipped last year, when i focused on Chinese, but then school cancelled Chinese for this year.

So that's my schedule-I had a lot of bad luck, do I still have a chance at top schools? My GC will explain the medical problem in her rec.

Next year, I am taking one of the hardest courseloads in the history of my school-got special approval from principal.

AP Lit, AP Stats, AP Bio, Chinese III, Psych (College course), Sociology (College Course).

If the medical condition and the reason for you taking CP Pre-Calc this year are documented, then it shouldn’t affect you much, if at all.

It’ll be provided for-I have medical records, absences, etc. My GC will explain everything, but I’m still worried. Everything else is good-I’m a published author, proficient in 4 languages, 2300, etc but this is my weak spot.

It will also affect my rank too, probably.

more opinions?

I agree with notanengineer; if this condition is documented you really shouldn’t have a problem- for dealing with something serious, you seem to have done very well, so you should still be a very strong applicant.

thank you!!!

bumping this.

bumping againnn

no need to bump haha  you should be fine. like the other posters said, if you have documentation, it should be no problem.
