Questions about Dean's List and Mid-Term Report

Hi, so I'm a transfer student, and I already submitted my Common Apps (not the supplements though) as well as asked my uni to mail the College Official's Report, but today I got an e-mail saying I made it to the Dean's List. I obviously couldn't have mentioned it on my CA - does it matter? My transcript will still say that my GPA is 3.92, so I just don't know whether it's terribly important or not to mail/call the school to ask to update my CA?

Also, a bit confused about Midterm Reports - I haven't had any exams or tests in two of my classes so far, and the app deadline of one of my universities is on 1st of March, how do I go about getting the Midterm report? Should I just wait until the first exams and then ask professors to give the tentative grade? Also, do I mail it myself?

Thank you!

You can actually ask them for your grade as it is, assuming you’ve had assignments and projects. Yes, you mail the Midterm Report.

As for the Dean’s List distinction, I think it is just redundant. If you have a 3.92, chances are you’re on the Dean’s List.

Thanks a lot!

Do I have to have anyone sign over the flap of the envelope, or is it okay if I mail it as it is?
