Hi guys, this is Angie from Hong Kong, I will be studying at Fordham in the coming Fall.
Anyone knows which dorm I should choose? Coz I saw it on the school website that freshmen and senior year students live in different dorms. As a year4 student exchanging at Fordham, should I count myself as a freshman or senior student?
btw do you have such thing as “dorm cultures”? coz in HK, each dorm has its own culture haha
Thanks for answering my questions~~
If you are transferring in as a senior (4th year), you should be eligible for the upperclassmen dorms. At Rose Hill campus, I’d recommend Campbell, Salice or Conley (northwest corner of campus) for seniors. Walsh and O’hare have some seniors, but more juniors. (Housing in the freshman dorms(Loschert, Alumni South is for freshman only.)
Whenever you have a question, call or email the university! They can help you!
Welcome to Fordham and NYC! There is a FB page for admitted/transfer students, I think. Dorms can have some cultural aspects like in any university given the flexibility of changing dorms. If you can connect with a current senior via the FB, that would help or you can call/email student affairs or admissions to connect with a current senior.

Thank you:)
HI, do you know what the ILCGB is? They told me to join it but I dk if it would be for me. I don’t really wanna compromise myself already to having to spend all day with the same people or doing everything with them, without having the chance to make my own group of friends. thanks
