Questions about Georgia Tech

I am currently in high school and I am trying to decide on which college I should attend and if they will accept me. My freshman year was not as great as I had though, coming in at around a 91 average. I also had a few ECs (art club and one sport). I will definitely try to improve next year and try to work on leadership skills.
Recently, I've been trying to find out what career I want to pursue. I became interested in electrical engineering and I would like to know if my grades are good enough to be accepted into Georgia tech. Any recommendations? Anything you think I should improve? Please let me know so that I can improve and meet my goal.

Anyone?

You have a 91 now or did in 9th grade?

I am currently in 9th grade with a 91 average( working in the 4th quarter)

It’s really hard for someone to know what it’s going to take to be accepted at GT in 3 years. I assume it will be harder to get in. A 91 average doesn’t really tell us how you are doing in the classes that matter… Remember GT is only going to look at core classes and it’s going look at your GPA most likely on a 4.0 scale. So for example my 9th grader got a 98 in health last semester which helps his grade average but really doesn’t help for college applications .

The best way to make sure that you get accepted at the colleges you want is to try your best to get an ‘A’ in all your core classes, make sure you take classes with rigor and pick a couple EC’s and stick with them…Sounds pretty vague but that’s really about it.Oh one more thing. If you are planning on applying to a tech school make sure you take some AP classes that show you are interested that field don’t just stick with the classes such as AP English and AP US history…make sure to also take AP Calc and some other AP science.

I am doing pretty well in my core classes, especially math and science
