I am an engineer in Warren and I was wondering since I passed the APUSH exam, will I only have to take one upper level history course to fulfill the Humanities and Fine Arts area study?

Passing the apush exam grants 2 courses toward History or Humanities PofC

According to this: http://www.ucsd.edu/catalog/pdf/APC-chart.pdf

AP US History counts as “2 courses toward history or humanities PofC or 1 course toward history or humanities area study.” Since you are an engineering student (BS, I’m assuming), you can do 2 area studies, instead of programs of concentration. Each area study requires 3 courses, so you would be required to take two more in this particular area, since the AP US test only counts for one course towards the history or humanities area study.

Oh woops i missed the 1 course towards area study part.

Can I have the 1 course be towards an upper division course?
